MEASURING THE FOOT
8 measurements of the foot and an imprint are used to change the last to your foot requirements. Ensuring a proper fit.
Leathers and designs are chosen. Exotics, bullhides, calfskins are selected. Top designs range from single row stitch patterns to ornate inlays.
MAKING THE BOOT
The leather choices are patterned, design is stitched, and the boot parts are assembled. Ready to last. All by hand.
The boot is stretched around the last and left to dry.
Bottom work is then completed by hand. Stitching the welt, wood pegging the shank, stitching the sole, and stacking the heel blocks.
Finally the boots are cleaned, bottoms are stained, and the boot is conditioned.
